Envelope Series
I created these art quilts after I inherited an old stamp collection from a great uncle. While the stamps weren't valuable as a collection, as art materials I found them priceless! The envelope shape, written address and cancelled stamps of these paper quilts are all about communication, the etched and altered paper creates a mysterious surface that intrigues the viewer.
